Maryam N. Farag, DMD
Dr. Maryam Farag attended Rutgers University followed by Tufts University where she obtained her dental degree in 2013. She completed her General Dentistry and a 4 year postgraduate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medical Center where she was Chief Resident.
Dr. Farag enjoys practicing the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from dentoalveolar to cosmetic procedures, and she is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. She lectures frequently, most recently at the AAOMS Annual meeting in 2017. She is also a co-author of an article published by the New York State Dental Journal.
When she is not busy treating patients locally, Dr. Farag volunteers on mission trips and has traveled to both Egypt and the Dominican Republic on several occasions providing dental care and raising overall oral health awareness. She is fluent in Arabic.
